M@tt's Pre-Season Predictions

The question on everyone's mind at the moment as the new Premier League season approaches is who will be relegated and who are going to well this season. I think Swansea are going to go straight back down, they need to sign some quality players and fast if they want to have a chance of staying up (maybe Joey Barton). I am going to tip Newcastle for relegation after losing their best two players with Nolan joining recently relegated West Ham and Joey Barton being forced from the club. I have been informed that Jose Enrique is meant to have also been shown the door by magpies owner Mike Ashley...what is wrong with this man? You can't just kick out 2 of your key players and sell one of the best players ever to play at the club and not even replace them. And I think the third relegation spot will be contested between 4 sides and they are going to be Wolves, West Brom, Wigan and Blackburn. I think QPR and Norwich can survive the drop if they are not plagued by injuries and if they hit the ground running because they are going to need to run like fuck to stay up.

I am expecting great things from Liverpool this season after signing Adam and Downing. They also have no European football so all the focus should be on a title push and I think they could be a suprise package this season. I think Chelsea may drop off a little this season as they have not been spending big and their players are rather old. They are also missing Essien for most of the season so that will be a huge blow for them. I honestly think that Manchester United will retain the Premier League title this season.

My finishing table prediction for the coming season will be as follows:

1. Manchester United
2. Liverpool
3. Chelsea
4. Manchester City
5. Tottenham
6. Arsenal
7. Aston Villa
8. Everton
9. Fulham
10. Sunderland
11. Stoke
12. Bolton
13. QPR
14. West Brom
15. Norwich
16. Wigan
17. Blackburn
18. Wolves
19. Newcastle
20. Swansea

So that is my start of season prediction for the outcome of the coming season. I cannot wait for the kick-off of the season. Don't forget to create your fantasty football team and join our league, just follow the links we have posted in a previous post.
